We are in the middle of a wave of spam-attacks on this board at the moment. You may not have noticed - we try to respond quickly - but we’re seeing multiple waves per day of 20-30 messages per wave.
To calm this down some, we’ve tightened the rules on new accounts. A newly-created login will need to be present on, and interact with, the board for a while before it can create new messages.
Apologies for raising the friction for new folks to get help here. We’re not particularly happy about it, and will be brainstorming other solutions to the problem in the next week. But we can’t let the board become a dumping ground, either.
