Pulp to replace Ansible Galaxy?

It seems that Ansible Galaxy might be adrift and in any case it is the only common repo for Ansible roles and collections.

I wonder if Pulp could address that somehow… either by running the back end (maybe with a little spon$orship from RedHat…
or in conjunction with other open source projects (similar to using it as a docker registry or maven repo) ?

Never mind… I just noticed the Galaxy plugin… maybe some enterprising person will set up a galaxy hosting service.

Yes I collaborate on that plugin, but I’m actually part of the Pulp team, not the galaxy team. My hope is that it eventually is deployed as a replacement for galaxy.ansible.com, but we’ll see.
