Hello all,
The pulp_ostree plugin has been languishing for a while. The main driver for its creation changed, a while back, to no longer require it, and the Pulp team has been focused on more-relevant content-types.
So - we are planning to archive this plugin and remove it from the oci-images for Pulp. If we’re not going to be able to maintain it, we don’t really want to be publishing it.
On the other hand - it’s been pointed out that it is Rude to not see who (if anyone?) in our community relies on it first, though!
So, two questions:
- do you use pulp_ostree? (Note - not “do you have it installed” - do you actually use it, with its current functionality)
- are you happy with its current state
and, one big question - if the answers above are “yes” and “no” - would you consider becoming a maintainer for that plugin, so it gets enhancements?
Thoughts, anyone?
