Overview
- Katello Schedule
Pulp
- Pulpcore
- All pulpcore changes from last two weeks
- All Pulp organization changes in the last two weeks
- Let’s talk about PRNs and HREFs
- You must have an HREF to get/update/delete an instance
- You can use PRNs as attributes on calls
- E.g.: I need a remote’s HREF to GET/UPDATE that remote - but I can use its PRN on a repository-sync call to sync from that remote
- We absolutely do need to fix whatever is going on with the Ruby bindings and HrefOrPrn fields
- See https://github.com/pulp/pulpcore/issues/7002 for discussion
- RPM
- Fix for the retain_package_versions feature was merged (No downstream bug reports (yet))
- Discussion about the sql implementation
- Not fixed, even after a number of iterations
- https://github.com/pulp/pulp_rpm/pull/4171 - anybody care to help out here?
- Fixing it in python : https://github.com/pulp/pulp_rpm/pull/4136
- But - performance is a BIG issue for katello
- Fix for the retain_package_versions feature was merged (No downstream bug reports (yet))
