I nominate hstct for pulp_deb merge access

I nominate @hstct for pulp_deb merge access.

Full disclosure: We are both employed by ATIX.

My arguments go as follows:

  • Since starting at ATIX, hstct has taken charge of converting the pulp_deb test suite to use pytest, which he did without much help or supervision from us, but in constructive interaction and discussions with core Pulp team members. E.g.: https://github.com/pulp/pulp_deb/pull/600 As a consequence he is already our resident pulp test expert. This work continues with overhauling our fixtures, and converting the remaining tests, which will form the basis for actually expanding test coverage and overcoming some of our past Sins in that area.
  • He also took the lead in developing a major new feature, namely the pulp_deb optimize sync: https://github.com/pulp/pulp_deb/pull/570
  • In addition there have been several smaller bugfixes and maintenance tasks, e.g.: https://github.com/pulp/pulp_deb/pull/534
  • We have been performing the last several pulp_deb releases together, since we badly need a second pulp_deb maintainer with both the knowledge, time, and access rights to perform releases, CI fixes, and other plugin maintenance. (My recent unplanned absence from the office, which delayed releases by two weeks serves to underline this need).

Feel free to discuss.

Your arguments make sense to me!

@hstct is now a member of the Pulp organization on GitHub, and has been added to the Debian team: https://github.com/orgs/pulp/teams/debian/members

Thanks everyone for your trust!
