I was discussing the upstream interest in a healthz endpoint with my peer who’s actually in-free-time working on that, and he asked if there were any requirements / nice-to-haves on the Pulp side. FWIW, I was leaning towards simply integrating something like https://github.com/KristianOellegaard/django-health-check, providing a status code for a regular http request or a neat JSON structure if the accept header requests that. Probably add a config value to specify the path where it’s exposed. But I think we’re open to input if something else makes more sense for the broader community.
